Engineering Design Manager
The position demands the successful candidate’s full talents and leadership be devoted primarily to several areas:
- Improving the quality of our existing product lines,
- Improving our production methodologies, and
- Development of new products from concept through production implementation.
The candidate will also be asked to engage in general production support and customer support.
The position will also entail participation in aspects of company life outside engineering including assisting with the company five and ten year plans, budgeting, market analysis, competitor analysis and other non-engineering roles.
We anticipate the successful candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering although it is not essential if the candidate has demonstrated significant mechanical/electro-mechanical design skills. Significant experience with motorized drive systems and PLC’s is also a must. Experience with sheet metal cabinet design is necessary.
